Mililani, Oahu’s first planned community, is a strong family based neighborhood located on a plateau in the center of Oahu. Although essentially a large residential subdivision, Mililani has commercial shopping centers, parks, schools and a golf course, and resembles a modern American suburban town.
In 1986 Mililani was the recipient of the All-American City Award from the Citizen Forum on Self-Government of the National Municipal League in Washington D.C. Mililani is the only community in Hawaii, which has received this distinction.

Shopping
Mililani Town Center – Located in the heart of Mililani, the Town Center is host to Consolidated Theaters 14-plex, numerous restaurants such as Chili’s Bar and Grill, Assaggio’s, and Ruby Tuesdays, and a variety of specialty stores and retail businesses such as Wal-Mart.
Mililani Shopping Center – Offers a divers assortment of stores including Foodland, a pet store, Ross, Paul Maria Salon, and Blockbuster. It also home to many eateries such as Mililani Restaurant, Sushiman, and The Shack, a sports bar which hosts day and night entertainment.
Mililani Market Place – The smallest of the three shopping areas, Mililani Market Place has a lot to offer including a new seafood buffet style restaurant, Makino Chaya. Other restaurants include Po Sing, L&L and Papa Johns. Safeway and Longs Drug Store are also conveniently located here.
Mililani Town Association (MTA)
Designed to help maintain common areas and operate community facilities, the MTA serves the residence of Mililani and helps uphold and preserve the quality of life.
=KAPOLEI=
Kapolei, also named “Hawaii’s E-City” because of its high tech telecommunications infrastructure. Kapolei is the fastest growing community in the state of Hawaii. It holds a state-of-the-art Teleport with redundant Trans-Pacific fiber optic and satellite earth stations, which links from Hawaii to the Americas, and to Asia as for west as India.
This neighborhood has seen a substantial amount of improvement with various businesses in the region investing over $1 billion and creating over 15,000 jobs.
